He made his proposal one to remember when he got down on one knee while on stage at The Lyceum Theatre in London's West End on Tuesday night, following a performance of The Lion King.
And Spencer Matthews appeared to be whisking fiancée Vogue Williams off to celebrate their engagement as they made an early arrival at Heathrow airport on Thursday morning, where the Irish model showed off her £150,000 sparkler.
The couple looked to be revelling in their newly-engaged status as they locked hands while making their way into their terminal.

Vogue looked typically stylish in a grey roll neck jumper, which she paired with coated black jeans and chunky boots, while Spencer opted for a herringbone jacket, a thick grey roll neck and trainers.
Their warm outfits suggested they might not have been jetting off to the warmest of locations, despite Spencer's family owning the exclusive Eden Rock resort on the Caribbean island of St. Barths.
Of course, it was Vogue's diamond sparkler that was bound to be the most notable aspect of her ensemble, with the band believed to be an exquisite 4ct diamond ring, with an estimated worth of £150,000.
Proving himself to be every inch the doting fiancé, Spencer handled the couple's luggage, though the loved-up reality star ensured he left a hand free to clasp his new fiancée's.
He looked a lot perkier than he did in the Instagram post Vogue had shared of him earlier that morning, which depicted him fast asleep in the back of their taxi.

Sparkler: Spencer also shared a clip of the huge rock, which is being estimated at £150,000
Her proud fiancé Spencer posted the same photo, as well as a video that captured the ring from every angle, in the illumination of its own blue light.
The engagement rock is being estimated near to a cool £150,000, which would explain Spencer's enthusiasm to flaunt the diamond.
Stephanie Lee, director at fine jewellers Ntinga in London told MailOnline exclusively on Friday: 'It is around 3-4ct radiant centre with baguette and trillion shoulders of around 1-1.25ct.
'They are set in a distinctive bridge style 5-stone claw. This jaw-dropping ring has a very approximate value of £150,000.'
